Marcella Caes is a queer fantasy author and college instructor from the west coast of Canada.

She writes character-driven fantasy about ancient beings, messy relationships, queer love, identity, healing, and happy endings earned the hard way.

Her debut series, The Auspice & Animus Trilogy, blends cosmic fantasy, dark romantasy, and slow-burn queer romance, beginning with one woman at a bus stop and ending somewhere much closer to the edge of the universe.

Outside of writing, Marcella enjoys video games, fan fiction, art, and negotiating with anxiety.
